Daily Chengyu privacy policy
Last updated October 21, 2026. This policy covers the Daily Chengyu iPhone app by Clint Tustison.
The app has no accounts. Favorites and settings stay on your iPhone, and Apple handles the Premium purchase.
What the app stores
Favorites and settings are stored on your iPhone. They are not sent to me or to anyone else. The app has no accounts.
Daily reminders are scheduled on the phone itself, not sent from a server. You can turn them off in the iPhone Settings app under Notifications.
The App Store privacy label for the app says "Data Not Collected."
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. I never see your card or payment details.
Deleting your data
Your data in the app is stored on your iPhone. To delete it, delete the app. Copies can also live in your iCloud or computer backups of the phone until those backups are replaced or deleted.
The website
dailychengyu.com has its own privacy page at dailychengyu.com/privacy/.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, I will update this page and the date at the top.
